From 1945: Grow Vitamins At Your Kitchen Door







Not only were these a splendid way to supplement American families' diets during a time of rationing, it was also a great way to get those who remained back in the States involved in the war effort.

    Yes, why isn't there a Victory Garden movement now? It would kill many birds with one stone. Or at least maim the birds. You know what I'm sayin'.
