July 9, 1982: "You're sinking, Don...come on back."

Remembering those who died in the Pan Am 759 disaster, which occurred on July 9, 1982.

The 727-235 (N4737), the "Clipper Defiance," crashed about a minute after rotation, the victim of extreme windshear.  

153 people were killed: 145 on the plane, and 8 on the ground.
