  1. My heart is with you during this horrible, difficult time, Laura. Be as strong as you can, and care for yourself, as well, ok? Ken, look after her, please.

  2. So, so very very sorry for your loss.

All of my love (even though we don't know each other, I have enjoyed your blog for a while) goes out to you and your family.

Such a waste of a good man, a good life, a future. Andy dies so that traitors may profit.

But at least we know that he lived, and that he made a dent on this world, and that he lives yet in you.

    Laura:

I wish that this had never happened but it did and nothing can change that. I am so, so sorry.

The only thing I can say (and this after several of my own experiences with loss)is that some day it won't hurt as much as it does right now. The ache will always be there, but some day your will be able to breathe without wanting to scream as you exhale. Some day you will be able to smile without feeling like you'll burst into tears at the same time.

Until then, try to be strong. Take help and comfort offered by your friends and family - even your extended blog family. We all care about you and want you to know that we are here for you.

    Laura,

I know we haven't spoken in a long time, but I still read your blog. I wanted you to know how very very sorry I am.

I'm truly speechless...I don't know what else to say. Just please take care of yourself.

    You are in my thoughts.

    L.

I also lost a family member in Operation Iraqi Freedom. It will be 2 years ago this July.

These guys didn't sit in a comfortable office, they chose to make life better for others. Remember that.
