Let me tell you, it takes a lot of effort and dedication to get a hairdo this high.  If that isn't the very epitome of La Glamour, I don't know what is.

My beauty idol, that is.  And my favorite Angel.  And the star of that really great TV movie where Cheryl gets busted for drugs with her boyfriend, is put in prison, and becomes besties with a young Angela Bassett.

I can't approve of lovely Cheryl being subjected to the terror of a hideous clown to sell beer.  Memo to the 1977 Powers That Be At Michelob: Clowns are never a good idea, especially when you have a beauty like Cheryl Ladd in your commercial.

Personally, I'm a big believer in doing beauty the old-fashioned way (or what we would consider "old fashioned" today).  I switched recently from fancy-schmancy facial wash to plain old Dr. Bronner's rose bar soap for facial scrubbery.  My skin has never been cleaner nor clearer.  And it's cheaper and organic!

Expressing Marital Love Through The Magic Of Olive Oil

The women of today will shout indignantly about this ad, but I personally don't see anything wrong with it.  I do love my husband and I do want to look lovely for him.  What kind of a sorry trick would I be if I didn't?

I think the vaguely Japanese look and feel of this ad is quite beautiful. 

My favorite.  I had the 45 and played it to the point that my Dad banned it in our house.  The only other records that received that distinction were "867-5309/Jenny" and "Come On Eileen."

This "beautiful person" wound up committing suicide in 2008.  She lost all of her money to Bernie Madoff, and she couldn't face being "both old and poor."  She was 73.

"Got A Feelin'" is one of the many songs inspired by Michelle.  This song was penned by her husband, John, about her affair with Denny Doherty.  It is one of my favorites because it is one of my Mom's favorites, and it features Michelle's delicate, lyrical soprano prominently.
